Belief
Element is an independent, non-denominational ministry that affirms the historic claims of orthodox Christianity and identifies with the emphases of Reformational evangelicalism.
We believe there is one God who exists in three Persons β Father, Son, and Holy Spirit β each of whom is fully and co-equally God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate and that He came to reconcile sinners to Himself. We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, died an undeserved death on a cross as the penalty for the sins of man, and rose bodily from the dead three days later to achieve full victory over sin and death.
We celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the central event of history and the sole ground of hope for human redemption.
We believe that the written revelation of the Bible is inspired by God and that it is the only authoritative and infallible grounds for Christian faith and practice.
We teach that man comes into a right relationship with God, not by following rules or embracing religion, but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior of sinners, King of kings, and Lord of lords.
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ meant to proclaim and embody the good news of Jesus and His kingdom.
We seek to cultivate a community where God is glorified and people are challenged, inspired, and trained to worship Jesus through a more fully devoted discipleship to Him.
In addition, the Element worship culture is informed by the affirmations of the Nicene Creed, influenced by the Five Solas of the Reformation, and guided by the irenic dictum, βIn essential things, unity; in non-essential things, liberty; and in all things, charity.β
